Nose: Wow – really unique. Sweet pineapple, prickly pear, lemon and lime. Sweet and effervescent with some really nice character – not too floral but there is some present. No smoke or clay so far.
Taste: Unique once more on the palate. Vanilla, gummy bear candies, passion fruit, guava and a hint of lavender. Really interesting. Thin, but satisfying.
Finish: Short to medium in length, lots of prickly pear, pear, apple and some faint smoke. This is bizarre but super fun.
Overall: This is probably one of the better rep’s I have had, and while it’s not topping my charts, I’m in love with how complex and unique it can be. It goes above and beyond, at the very least, to show how much spirit character can fight the barrel influence.
