Nose: Sweet sugar, orange peel, pear, muscat and musty fruit.
Taste: Thick and viscous but sweet. Orange peel, sweet lemon, lime and sugar. Clearly sweet, but has great body to pair with citrus. Sweetness feels natural and pleasant, complements the flavors nicely.
Finish: Long, sweet and citrus forward. Reminds me of orange candies.
Overall: It is what it is and does it with efficacy and grace. It’s a common ingredient in my margs, and there’s a reason for that.
