Cobrafire Eau de Raisin

The Schtick: This dram was tasted blind. I took down my notes, and formulated a guess over my usual tasting sessions. Let’s see how I did!

Review #1391 | Brandy Review #62

Distiller: Domaine Esperance

Bottler: Domaine Esperance

Brand: Domaine Esperance

Selection:

ABV: 51.5% ABV

Age: NA

Nose: Vibrant and unique. Musty pulp, vinegar, tomato, faint beef savory note. Really interesting. Reminds me of some super savory rums.

Taste: Sweet, no heat. Cream and musty sweetness. Faint astringency. Vinegar, olives, tomato paste, faint chili notes.

Finish: Short to medium. More harsh here. Rutabagas, parsnips, jicama, tomato and weird woodiness. Bizarre.

Overall: This is interesting and really bizarre/unique. I don’t know that its something I’d want to drink any day, or most days really, but it’s fun and different and not offensive.

Thanks for reading!
