Nose: Powerfully syrupy, lovely bouquet of fruits. Blackberry, rich concord grape, honey, graham cracker and excellent oak structure.
Taste: Thin mouthfeel, but no heat. Light spearmint, then a full dive into fruits. Blackberry, apple crisp, currants and rich oak. Light sulfur, some pipe tobacco. Excellent juicy start to a satisfyingly dry back palate.
Finish: Long, loads of tobacco. Cocoa, blackberry and well integrated oak.
Overall: Phenomenal bottling. Great stuff that manages to really nail the blend of bright, jammy fruits and tannic oak structure.
