Nose: Cream cheese frosting, toasted almond, apple and mango. Not super bold.
Taste: Leather, faint sweetness. Faint smoke. Pretty weak palate overall. Not a lot going on. Hint of kiwi fruit.
Finish: Short, light ash, faint clay. Again, not a ton going on.
Overall: Not bad, but incredibly bland. I’m honestly a little surprised, and a hair impressed. That said, I can’t imagine this makes amazing cocktails, since it doesn’t have much character. Maybe that’s the point. Who knows.
