Distiller: Four Pillars

Bottler: Four Pillars

Brand: Four Pillars

Selection:

ABV: 55.8% ABV

Age: NA

Nose: Really bright and fragrant – tons of juniper, lemon peel, faint anise, sweet lime zest.

Taste: Sweet and rich on the palate. Really supply mouth feel, coats the palate really nicely. First there is some malt and a roasted corn note that quickly gives way to pepper, sourdough bread, sweet cream and icing and some coriander. Really really nice.

Finish: Long but searing and hot. The complexity of the palate is almost lost on how hot the finish is firing off, though there is a lovely balance of pepper and lemon curd.

Overall: The nose and palate are delightful, but there is some lost momentum in the finish.
