Distiller: Berta Vasquez
ABV: 47.6% ABV
Nose: Smoky at first with a big vegetal nose.
Taste: Cotton candy, big pepper notes, sweet lemon, lime and a light creaminess to the palate.
Finish: Long finish that’s desserty and sweet – cream forward with some peppery, lightly ashy undertones.
Overall: It’s always a treat to drink the work of the Maestra! This Mexicano highlights what I loved about her initial batches.
