Nose: Crisp and clean, fresh on the nose with notes of rainwater, pepper, a bit of vegetal karwinskii pop and light vanilla. Bell pepper, some light salinity, fresh jalapeno.
Taste: Super sweet initially on the palate. Sweet fruits, confectioners sugar, rock candy, pepper and peach. Bell pepper and more jalapeno storm in quickly, bringing a bit of paint/clay with it. Mild heat on the palate, coats nicely.
Finish: Long, ashy, peppery finish. Light chemical notes, growing a bit savory. Pepper, soil, peach and plum and pear. A hot tingle of ethanol on the back palate.
Overall: Overall this is a fun expression but it’s not amazing. The distinct agaves don’t seem to mesh super well here, but it is a fun rollercoaster to try and hold on to.
