The Schtick: This is a bottling by Delord of Armagnac selected by Jax and Shortbarrel in a colalborative selected. Bottled at 31 years old, this seems like a good ABV for something of this age. Let’s see how it is.

Review #1428 | Armagnac Review #65

Distiller: Recolte

Bottler: Delord

Brand: Delord

Selection:

ABV: 47.0% ABV

Age: 31 Years

Nose: Thick, rich, brown sugar and toffee. Maple, pipe tobacco, pepper.

Taste: Medium mouth feel, a bit of heat, sweet cream, raisin bread, cocoa pipe tobacco and oak.

Finish: Short, but rich with maple, brown sugar, toffee, pipe tobacco while maintaining a nice oak structure.

Overall: Delicious overall. On the sweeter side of things, but some oak keeps it in check. This was real nice.
