Notes: Powerful and oaky at first, giving way to rich root beer and cherry cola notes that remind me of ECBP batches 4-6. A blink to the past. Mouthfeel was extremely viscous with great tannin structure and some tobacco. Diluted (estimated) to 47%, the cola notes remained while the oak softened pleasantly a bit. Big root beer, toffee, light blackberry and cocoa remained. A great teaser to what I hope are more barrels that are ripe for taking as undiluted, barrel proof, single barrels later this year
