Notes: Buttery, Werther’s caramels on the nose for days. Sweet cream, toffee, nougat, maple and salt water taffy. Light oak, light tobacco, light toasty funk. On the palate, it’s got a rich, syrupy profile. Oak is on point for the age, a light apple pie note, and then the toasted rolls in. Sweet buttercream, light fudge, a big spicy pepper character before maple syrup, brown sugar, and loads of caramel set in. Light funky tobacco on the palate, a touch of raisin bread, marshmallow and touch of clove. Long finish, caramel and toffee for days. A great balance of toasted sweetness, spice, oak and the proof takes a backseat for an easy drinking experience.
