Notes: Rich and desserty – lots of delicious caramel, honey, rye spice and pepper. Kind of like a Manhattan in a glass. Bright maple syrupy, cracked pepper, a light citrus peel and some cherry – a note I don’t usually get from Alberta Rye.
Additional Info: “This single barrel selection of delicious Alberta rye drinks so easily and carries with it so many layers of flavor we simply had to call it a Manhattan RTD. Bringing forward bright maple syrup, light citrus peel, and a dash of cherry, this Whistle Pig Straight Rye selection will serve perfectly as its own ready-to-drink cocktail. Cheers!” — An inviting description on the side of a brand new can at the liquor store. What do you say – pick one up and try it out?
